State of the art blower door testing for building permit now available

We are pleased to provide our customers with a state-of-the-art automated blower door testing service with the latest equipment and software with wind sensing technology.

We have been providing blower door testing for over 20 years to southern Saskatchewan and are looking forward to offering this new automated service moving forward as air leakage is one of the most cost-effective ways to build an energy efficient house and meet the higher tiers of the National Building Code (NBC 2020 today).

We will be offering it separately or with our Building Permit Packages that have become very popular with our clients over the past 6 years.

Building permit packages provide 9.36 energy modelling and forms filled in as well as CSA F280-12 room by room heat loss heat gain calculations as required in the building code along with a ventilation summary to the 9.32 ventilation section of the building code.

We are also happy to recognize the start of our 27th year in business as FM Residential.

The tester in the above picture indicates that this house has a radon problem because it is over the 200 Bq/m3 that is considered the safe limit by Health Canada.

If your want to learn more about the radon levels in your home contact us today. We can perform certified radon tests or we can sell you a digital radon detector, which continuously monitors radon levels in your home and alerts you to any potential health concerns that may need to be addressed.
